Goodie bag and box contents // South East Meet-up

So as I mentioned in my last post we all swapped beauty boxes at the meet-up, and my box was from the lovely Aileen. She put hers in a lovely gift bag with some pretty tissue paper and goodies inside. She was so generous and got me the Sleek 'oh so special' palette, a beauty uk blush, a baby lips electro, a beauty uk nail varnish and a soap glory righteous butter. I can't wait to try all these products (I already have the nail varnish on my nails its so pretty!)

We were also given an amazing amount of beauty and food treats in a goodie bag, organised by Aileen and Lottie. Of course I was overwhelmed and didn't expect anything from the meet-up. (meeting everyone was lovely enough) I don't even know where to begin there were so many things. I'm also quite nosy so I thought you guyzz might be interested in what I got given.

rotating from left to right// an elf gift voucher, face mask, pukka green teas, liz earl perfume sample, liz earl botanical conditioner, liz earl foot cream, lollitint sample, urban veda day cream, some sweet treats (which included hotel chocolat but thats already gone aha!), nail polishes in million stars, burgundy and red and a lovely note from the two girls.
If you've ever considered going to a meet-up, do it! Its really worth it. I just wanted to say thank you to both the girls again (explosion overload of thank you's but worth it!)

#SEBLOGGERS Meet-up in Brighton

(these are pictures from Kira as I forgot to bring my camera so I hope she doesn't mind too much)

So yesterday I went to Brighton with nine fellow bloggers to a meet-up organised by the lovely two, Aileen and Lottie. We started off by going to costa coffee and chatting for what felt like minutes. Everyone was each given a lovely goodie bag filled with beauty things which Aileen and Lottie were kind enough to make. We then went to home sense and looked around at the beautiful decorative home ware. We also had a lovely lunch at pizza express and swapped around a box each which everyone had customised themselves with little beauty goodies (this part was fun as everyone had added their own little touch to each box.)

After lunch we hit the shops, of course going to Boots in the process where I may have picked up a few beauty bits and bobs- a haul coming up soon. Also H&M, Primark and New Look. All the girls were so lovely and friendly, and it felt like the time went so quickly. I really hope I get to see the girls again (another meet-up needs to be organised again ladies.) I would just like to say thank you to Aileen and Lottie for organising such a lovely day and I cant wait to meet up again in the future.

Little Update// GCSE Results, Meet up

So I write this post in extreme happiness, but yesterday I had heart palpation's as I walked up to School to grab my results. I was so happy to say I received 3 A*'s, 3 A's and 3 B's which is more than I ever expected and I may have shed a tear or two out of happiness.

  • I am also starting sixth form in a couple of weeks which means A-Levels, homework and my own clothes (which is a positive.) Our sixth form is fairly lenient so we can wear pretty much what we would like, within consideration. I'm really excited for this new chapter (cheesy but true) and I can't wait to make new friends and learn new things.
  • I also went to the South-East meet up today with fellow bloggers, which I will write a few posts about. It was such a lovely day filled with meeting new people, eating tasty food and talking about all things beauty, fashion and lifestyle.
  • I also went for a cheeky costa coffee to celebrate my results, who says food doesnt bring happiness?

Solar Powder - Soap and Glory

Soap and Glory is a brand that really intrigues me, no idea why! But they are so well known for the body and bath essentials I haven't really paid much attention to the make-up. This little bronzer however came to my notice when sooooo many people started raving about it. I just had to buy it.  The Solar Powder is a duo bronzer (one side being matte and the other a slight shimmer) which can be used for the perfect sun kissed look.

I do really like this bronzer it isn't too muddy or too pale either. It does work perfectly which is all a gal needs, however it doesn't wow me. You know when you want a product to work wonders and you expect a lot, well I wasn't overwhelmed. Yes, it did work but it didn't make me jump off my seat in excitement as if I'd found the new wonder product! Will I buy it again? Probably but was it the perfect bronzer? Probably not. (Aside from that little negative) I do really enjoy using this product and hey maybe I'll like it the more I use it!

(I also really like the packaging, something about it reminds me of Benefit!) Are you interested in getting this bronzer?

My new scent // daisy dream

Howdy 'all, I think everyone's been spotting this pretty bottle in perfume shops lately and I was itching to get my hands on it. Especially with the promise of blackberry, fresh grapefruit and succulent pear notes (which sounds delicious enough to eat!)

I picked the 100ml's up in duty free as it was a cheaper deal and of course that made me want it even more! Its perfect for the Summer and I certainly wasn't disappointed by the scent. So not only do you get a pretty bottle with a dreamy blue liquid- skies and dreams and all that jazz- but you also get a beautiful fresh scent. (It also sits quite nicely on my dressing table- maybe a contributing factor) Its my newest and also my most favourite scent from Marc Jacobs. Do you think you'll snatch this perfume up?

t-bar shoes // new in

primark £8

I found a little gem in Primark, and Oh my gaahd I'm in shoe love! These cute little T bar shoes I found when I never thought I would be able to get my hands on them. I saw people buying these in Jan/Feb, I tried and tried to look for them but had no luck. So you can imagine my surprise excitement when I saw these babies on the shelf. I already own a pair from Topshop (in black) which I always pair with dresses and tights.

Sneaky post link' here (if you want to see the other pair)

Not only are these super comfy and cute but they were also really cheap- a primark bonus. Whats better than budget friendly shoes? I also paired them with these grey filly socks (also primark) which look super duper cute and makes me nostalgic of primary school. I like these a lot and have a feeling I made a good purchase here! Have I convinced you to buy them yet?

Vampire Diaries, Holidays and Jeans | July Faves

Naughty me for not posting! But I promise it will be a jam packed August where I am going to try and fit in as many posts as humanly possible. July was a busy and fun month but god did it go quickly! Where does the time go? I even started a new job which fingers crossed I enjoyed!

I went on holiday to Portugal for a week to a beautiful villa with family and friends. It was a lovely relaxing week soaking up the sun and eating too much salad and chicken! As usual I was so sad to leave! Also in the airport I picked up the new Daisy Dream perfume which is a new release I was itching to get my hands on (and as usual it lived up to the Marc Jacobs expectation.)

I also had my Prom which I wrote a post about. I thoroughly enjoyed Prom and would love to relive the experience (along with the lovely dresses and pretty nails.) If you are thinking about going to Prom please do because you wont regret it! I also found a new love for Jeans which I never thought would happen! I currently have three pairs in my collection and can see there being more added- tut tut tut. Maybe white?

I also cant not mention my biggest obsessions of the month. Arctic Monkeys- a band I thought I would never be interested in- and The Vampire Diaries. I have really enjoyed Arctic Monkeys music especially 'Do I Wanna Know?' and they are extremely good musicians. Last but not least is The Vampire Diaries. Oh dear, I could drone on about my obsession with Damon and Elena but I think I would bore you! I just reached the Season 5 finale and I don't think I can wait till October seeing as I sobbed at the ending. It beats every other TV show I have watched and would recommend anyone to watch it! The story lines are clever and if you haven't guessed already it includes vampires, werewolves and witches! (have I persuaded you yet? I hope so)

Are you excited for August, any holidays planned?

Bye'all
